Michelle Obama: China State Dinner in Alexander McQueen
Last night Michelle Obama turned heads and sparked controversy at the state dinner for President Hu Jintao of China. The dress, by the fashion house of the late Alexander McQueen, was an off the shoulder full length gown with full skirt made in a red and black print fabric. Though some expected her to wear something that was perhaps by a Chinese designer or more closely related to traditional Chinese attire, she instead chose to wear the color red – which means good luck to the Chinese.
So tell us what do you think about the first lady’s dress?
